New bedroom

We still need to paint the room, we are sick of the red. But we got new furniture, from a couple of places. But its all new. It is my very first brand new bedroom set. Yes, I just turned 32 and i have never had a new bed.

I am very blessed to of always had a warm comfortable place to sleep, but I am now very excited about the furniture!

Here are some pics...

Whoa look out everyone Olivia's coming....

Last weekend we kept Melanie and Shawns kids so they could go out for their anniversary (14 yrs). We took all 6 kids to Ikea (2 hrs away) to pick up our new dressers. On the way home we had to take Haley to Grandpas house, she had a fever. The rest of us headed home for the night. The next day Bella and Eden went with me to the farmers market in the am (early) and then we came home and all ate a big breakfast together. The kids then went to play on the slip in slide together. They all had a lot of fun.

busy busy

Ever since Garrett has been home from Mexico we have been even busier. I haven't taken pictures of anyone in a while. I am sure I will this weekend. We are keeping my nieces and nephew.

Garrett arrived home safely around 2 am last sun. We went to church (both services) and then headed to Richmond that afternoon for dinner with our family and playing around at the pool. Monday began a 2 weeks of swimming lessons for the girls. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. They are doing very well, even better since they were in Florida last week swimming almost everyday.

SO we have been running here and there all week everyday. Last night I was able to go to East Coast Encounter to hear Aaron chambers speak and Sarah Lynn and the guys lead worship. It was amazing! Felt God there for sure!

I will add pic on Friday. we are picking up my sisters three and taking out three and heading to Ikea near DC (2 hrs away) to pick up our new dressers. Yeah we are crazy for taking all 6 there. But the four older ones will go to the child play area. they love that!

Today was my birthday and Grayson and I had a few adventures. You can see below how our morning started. We actually woke up early and shared a waffle then headed to the museum. Later today we went to my aunts pool and ate watermelon and swam a lot. (no pics of swimming, because we were in the pool). Tonight we went out to dinner with my dad, step mom, sister, niece, step dad and me and gray. It was really good.....thanks everyone! I also got to go out last night with my aunt and uncle for dinner too. And I got a sweet bathing suit today from my aunt. Yeah thanks everybody for a fabulous birthday. (minus a husband and two gals)

Have you ever seen a cute check out boy
Today I took Grayson to the childrens museum, for my birthday. It was a lot of fun. I got to spend some more quality alone time with my baby boy, and take lots of pictures. He painted, played in the big sand box with tonka trucks, picked apples (red balls) from the big tree, played with the water table, drew dinosaurs, dug for bones, played with the pretend grocery store, and much more. Here are the pictures :) Enjoy

Chuckie Cheese

This morning we woke up and went to church. Afterwards we headed home to eat lunch. This afternoon we went to Chuckie Cheese with Luis and Isabella. (my friend's husband and their daughter). Grayson had not been before. We have never taken the kids, the girls have gone with their Aunt Kelly but not us.

We had pizza for dinner, and played lots of games. The kids had a great time and we did too. We all played lots of games. We tried to get the kids to go in the big climbing thing, but they were both too short. I was glad, because I knew I would of never gotten Grayson out of there. Here are some pictures from today.

Just me and my baby boy!

Today Grayson and I are home alone. Its just the two of us until Wednesday when the girls return home with Granny. Garrett left for Mexico this morning (3:45 am) and won't be back until next sat at midnight :(

Grayson and I woke up today and went to the farmers market. We walked around, visited with the doggies, and bought some fruit and veggies. We then went to Home depot to get a hose, and see the lawn mowers (he loves them). Finally grocery store and back home. He fell asleep on the way home but didn't stay that way. We had lunch and then got the back yard ready.
I love this toy!

We filled up the pool and played. Blew big bubbles, and ate ice cream. After wards we came in for a shower and did a few things. We later went for a walk and came home to pick weeds, and grayson rode on his tractor. I will take pictures of that another day too busy.

He kept saying "bye bye bubbles"

Our 8th anniversary

On Tues we had been married for 8 yrs. We decided to do 8 diff things for our 8th anniv. We each had to come up with 4 diff things to do, and tell a close friend so that weren't any overlaps. We had a lot of fun, spent too much money, and did some things we haven't done in years. It began yesterday after the girls flew to FL with my Garrett's mom, and we took Grayson to my sisters.

Our first thing was walking around Cary Town and eating pastries from Jean Jacques (fabulous).
Garrett tasting the pastries...... oh so yummy!
From there we went for a boat ride on the canal. It was a 40 mins ride with historical facts. In these pics I think I have finally realized i need to focus more on me, because there is a lot of me right now, and i really don't like it.
Thirdly we went to play laser tag. We ended up playing with 6 other kids (prob middle schoolers), but fun.
My score card. Garrett did beat me, but those kids were crazy!
Fourth item was dinner at Dot's Back Inn it is an old dinner in Richmond. We loved it, they serve gourmet food, it was amazing. We saw it on the Food Network about a month ago. Lastly yesterday we went to see a movie (Wanted). It was good, a bit intense.

Before dinner, outside of the diner!

Today we started the day out at home and headed to get pedicures. We both got one at the salon i go to. It was a lot of fun, Garrett was unsure throughout the whole process, but he enjoyed his feet afterwards.
When we first got there, we were soaking out feet!
His face says it all. He wanted to kick her in her face for doing that!
From there we had lunch and then went to ride go-Karts. Our last item on the agenda was Busch Gardens for roller coasters. But instead of riding them, Garrett just had them going off in his stomach so we had to leave. We had a great time, but were glad to pick up our baby boy!

Not at all sure whats going on here, but we tried to get the sign in here too.

One Eyed Monsters

Today we had the house all clean and straight for Granny's arrival so I decided that it was craft time for the girls. They made one-eyed-monsters. We always have toilet paper rolls around and we found two big googly eyes. So here they are. Grayson was enjoying a short movie in the playroom. When I went to find him he was under the table watching the movie.
